motorhead are the only band i've heard who can get away with covering god save the queen -not that any one else would/should try. saying that -velvet revolver do a good bodies....but GSTQ is sacred IMO.
whenever i've seen MH play it, beforehand Lemmy asks "where are all the punks then tonight?" which is always answered by a small cheer from t'punks (i always cheer with them ) drowned out by the jeers of the long-haired no-girlfriend lard-bucket grebo majority. lemmy then puts the neanderthals straight by pointing out that a good songs a good song no matter who wrote it and that if it weren't for the punks MH would probably never have made it as all the grebos were listening to s**t like the pink floyd and barclay james harvest at the time.

Not if you live in The Shire, you can't.
But I'll pass up on speedy internet connections for the view I've got out me front window.

Been downloading a load of Foo Fighters stuff.
May start uploading some Sisters gigs at some point, but coz I share my internet connection with 2 other people, I may not be able to seed it all in one go.

Great topic!
Just noticed my up and download has been reset to 0% so 15 GB to go
(but only 1.5 upstream, and it's terribly slow at the moment
)
So I searched and found:
The Kills at Traffic Musique, a video thingy, Joy Division at the Moonlight Club West Hampstead London 1980 and Joy Division - All God's Angels Beware (Blackpool & Leeds 1979)
But only just started so

Our Telenet broadband provider charges me 30 quid a month... (ok, that's 50 meg webspace included and me own domain name, but still way too expensive)
