Belle & Sebastian

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I've reserved judgement on these quirky jovial popsters until now.
Now I've heard a song about a frog they've just released and my lethargy has changed to extreme vitriol.

Ban these evil doers and burn their twee records and nicey nice CD's. Now.

They were voted "Scotland's Most Influential Band"
Complete and utter fuckin' PISH, but Scotland has been guilty of producing bands of this ilk lately

Don't really know what the rest of the album is, but the song itself is quite alright... Most of the rest is rather *yawn* though...

I've got very fond memories of that album. That and mansun's "Six" seem to connect very well. And large stacks of awful books.

Are Arab Strap from Glasgae? (might be Edinburgh) - I like them.

We seen the Damned in Falkirk a couple of years ago, in The Martel, the natives call it "Alton Towers", 'cause you pay a fiver to get in and you can ride all night
