keep july free...

a very, very early heads-up on this one.

we're currently trying to secure venues and suitable entertainment so that we can have another heartland weekender in july.

we potentially have a venue for the weekend of 14th/15th july but its still in the early stages and venues have not been confirmed yet.

i just thought that anyone feeling particularly sad about missing out on the sisters 2006 dates (or at least those we know about so far) might like something to look forward to 8)

its going to be a slightly different format this time, due to the closure of the phono & the bassment, so we will probably abandon the sunday altogether (*ness sighs with relief!* ;D) and have a band/bands on as part of the friday club night... which should make it easier & cheaper for everyone. saturday should be as normal.

but thats as far as we have got so far. its all just a vague idea.

i just thought some of you might like a bit or prior warning ;)

more info as soon as i have it :von:

oh, and the current working-title for the weekend is "Winter in July", due mainly to the fact that HL parties are normally held during the winter months ;) ;D

that cheer you up any?

So Quiffster. July, summer, beer garden, bar-b-que?

Fully understanding that sunlight may not appeal to some members on the forum.

;D :innocent:

Hmm, I might be able to make that :D

Though usually July is my work month, so that might just interfere.

Oh, and if you do it in July, not the weekend of the 9th please, as that's my birthday, and I would not be able to get out of here in any way probably

That's after the school term finishes, right?

Excellent 8)

Don't suppose the venue will be a strictly age limitted one, will it? :|

If there's a beer garden I'm sure they'll let in kids.

Easy Tiger.

I do like Dark's idea about HL bands playing though. 8)

To save bringing too much equipment, perhaps just one band should bring drums, and all bands that can get there share it?
That is, if bands aren't using a drum machine. ;D
