seattle pre-sale sold out much faster than the other dates, so apparantly there was a need to be satisfied up there
How many can those pre-sale tix be anyway...couple of hundred for each concert?

My guess is a couple of hundred, or one third of the amount of tickets available. Maybe that's how Sisters get paid for the concerts? At least it is somekind of advance money.. like an insurance.
Edit: Wops. Notice, this is more a guess than a statement.. as I don't know anything about it.
