Not quite sure if I can make it to Berlin (depends on my boss & the situation at work) but when you come to Berlin and I am there either I will buy you some Doener or Curry-Pommes rot/weiß, pikkrong.
Anybody else on the list who is going to see Bauhaus in Berlin tomorrow?

Well, they aren't on sale yet as far as I know.
Nice with a gig where I can take a few minutes walk and hop on the bus 104 which will take me directly to Columbiahalle

Hope they will be not sold out in a month (when I have to be away from the Internet).

The glittering industrial groove machine is running out of glossy paper it seems.
They're sparingly advertised over here like this:

I'm planning on coming to this one, but have no clue of the layout of Berlin. Can anyone here point me in the direction of any cheap hotels that are convenient for the venue or the station? Any help gratefully received.

There is a youth hostel not too far away from the venue (not close enogh for walking from the hostel to the venue though). I slept there when I saw bauhaus in February:
Berlin - International
Kluckstr. 3
10785 Berlin

I'd also suggest these hostels:
http://www.meininger-hostels.de/de/mein ... ostels.php
Walking possible from the ones at Hallesches Ufer and Tempelhofer Ufer, provided you don't have any problems walking something like 2 kilometers - but it's also easy, just walk south on Mehringdamm until you reach Tempelhof airport and turn left on Columbiadamm. (or take the U6 to Platz der Luftbrücke)
The third hostel has the bus 104 going nearby which will take you directly to the venue.

Cheers for the tips.
Is anyone else staying at either these hotels or the youth hostel? It would be nice to be among a crowd of us.

Youth hostels are a good choice if you travel in a group. Since I will travel on my own to Berlin I just deceided to book a cheap hotel. I booked the usual etap (I should get a quantity discount from them by now...).
The hotel is in the heart of the city close to Potsdamer Platz.
Driving from Potsdamer Platz to the venue by car should not take longer than 15 minutes maximum.
The price for a single room is 45.00 EUR (without breakfast). You should calculate some cash for parking your car either.
ETAP HOTEL Berlin Potsdamer Platz
Anhalter Strasse 6
10963 BERLIN -
Deutschland

what about coming without a car?

No problem either. From Anhalter Str. it is a few minutes walk to Kochstraße (close to the former "checkpoint charly" at which you could leave the American sector and enter the russian sector).
From Kochstr. there is an underground directly going to "Platz der Luftbrücke" (three stations only) which is not far away from the Columbia Halle.

Is there anything interesting to do / to go tomorrow (the day before the gig) in Berlin?
I know, it's an interesting city but there are always better plans which I could not understand before it's too late.
Danke!
