I just noticed there are not too many flights from Paris to Germany over Easter... cheapest way to get back is HLX (Paris - Hannover) but they do start pretty early in the morning (8:40 a.m. on April 15th).
I just booked a flight in the evening of April 15th:
easyjet (Paris - Dortmund), flight goes 7:50 p.m. A ticket from Dortmund to Hamburg by Deutsche Bahn (train) is approx. 55,- EUR. Dortmund - Hamburg takes approx. 2,5 h. So I will stay in Dortmund for the night and go to Hamburg the next day.
That's not as comfortable as direct fligth from Paris to Hamburg by Air France but much cheaper...

never been in Hamburg
wish to correct this mistake (together with Sisters) but after wasting money and free days (actually so-called 'winter holiday' should be only one week) I'm afraid I can't be there

Anyone knows when the tickets will be available for us outside Germany (Eventim? Kartenhaus?). FKP Scorpio only sell within Germany.

So, meet you all at ETAP St. Pauli then.
Tickets available from

Sure! Just listen carefully after a group of non-german speaking drunk swedes and you'll find us somewhere at Reeperbahn.

thanx in advance

For record shops check out the area called "Schanzenviertel" (the place where Andreas Bruhn used to live and maybe is still living). Underground/tram: "Sternschanze". There are also some good pubs around. I like the place, at least there are by far not as many tourists as around the Reeperbahn.
For meeting up before / having a drink (or two or ten) after the gig some pub not too far away from the venue would be good though.
Other fine places in Hamburg:
Visiting the harbour is always interesting and taking a walk at the river Elbe around Övelgönne is very nice either.
If you like paintings the "Kunsthalle" is an option - especially if you like Caspar David Friedrich. They got a pretty good collection and seeing these paintings in original is much more impressive than in a book. The Kunsthalle is pretty close to the main rail station (Hauptbahnhof).

Come on vicus, you can't be serious. that's the most boring anorak thing to do in Hamburg. I was standing once in a queue to look at it, but eventually got bored before it was my turn.
who likes small trains anyway?

Who doesn't? Or big trains. Or in fact most machines. In fact, I'm still waiting for the update

That's correct. If you want to go shopping you have to wait until Tuesday.
