Not really a joke of the day, but unfortunately we don't have an Embarrassing-like-that-scene-with-Jim-Carrey-and-the-buxom-lady-in-the-elevator-in-Liar-Liar-type-situation of the Day thread.

So I'm queuing at the checkout in M&S this evening, and the pretty young checkout girl has a sweatshirt with "Eat Well" boldly emblazoned across her chest - obviously part of their latest healthy-eating promotion.

The harmless looking old man being served in front of me turns round and says very loudly: "There you go pal, I'll eat one and you can eat the other" - while making a sort of honk-honk motion with his hands.

but if I was the girl at the checkout and I heard what the old man had said!
