Afterhours Guitar Tab

I’ve just written an Afterhours guitar tab. It features the basic guitar parts, but isn’t 100% complete.

Here’s the tab.

Give me your feedback, and if you know how to play any snippets of the song, please show me how so I can add them to the tab.

You need a 'D' in the second riff, along the lines of

Thanks for the tabs, mugabe, I'd been having trouble with that part all morning. :notworthy: :D

@CellThree, thanks for the Driven Like the Snow tab. That was a nice little extra. :D

Quick question. How accurate is the following tab I found at the Gothic Tab Archive? It sounds about right to me, but I don't wanna play Adrenochrome live until I know it accurately.

That works too. Just changed one note though, to make the chord more of a D

I think it should be "-2-1-" on the D-string in the first bar, not "-1-2-". Otherwise, it looks fine.

Playing-wise, fair enough, but when your ear drums have perforated 3 times between them, anything could be Malmsteen material in terms of transcribing it. :urff:

Granted. Also, the rather muffled sound of the live recordings don't help either. You should be more careful where you put your ears, btw.

Just so you get the hang of Slept without listening to all those people talking over it :

Quick Demo Version

Just so you know.

Verse riff is repeated 16 times,
Chorus
Verse riff 12 times
Chorus (F,E, Am, G)
Ends on an Am

I've put the rythmn more on the left channel and the lead on right, so if you want to, you can practise! (although I wouldn't bother as it was pretty dull recording this!)

BPM is 160.

There seems to be slight latency problem with the lead playing a split second behind the rythmn. Sorry about that.

Not very accurate. It probably sounds nice, but the original is a bit more complicated. You can probably find my tab somewhere on the net. They keep reappearing...

I spent the last hour searching over the net for various Adrenochrome tabs, and there seems to be only two tabs that pop up again and again: click and clicky.

Listening to the guitar closely, there's defiantly a lot missing from those two tabs, but the guitar is so fuzzed out during the chorus that I can't figure out what it's doing.

Is there anywhere I should search in particular for your Adrenochrome tab?

A decent Body Electric tab would also be nice. 8)

Body Electric is easy. D string for a while, a couple of notes then the A string for a while with the octave on the 7th fret of the D string.

Chords for chorus are Bb5, C5, A5.

Never sat down and worked out the guitar line under the chorus though, but it can't be that tricky.

Pretty much. The chorus guitar is not that hard either. Don't remember the outro riff though. But since it's another Marx thing, it can't be that difficult...
