Dallas-Gypsy Tea Room- February 22nd

Anyone else going to the Dallas show? I love the Gypsy Tea Room, but the bar is in such a weird place in the ballroom... seemingly right where people should be able to stand if they want to see the band.

Aye, Dallas

I'll be at the Dallas show. And Austin. And, as it turns out, Orlando.

Never been to the Gypsy or La Zona Rosa, but I hope to get a minidisc recorder in with me. I hear it will be harder at the HOB in Orlando.

Shouldn't be any trouble at all at the Gypsy.

The security at the Phoenix show was insane. They actually made people take off their shoes! I'll be surprised to hear a recording from there. Hopefully Dallas will be easier.

What is funnier than watching someone unlace a pair of thigh-high combat boots? Watching half the people in line do it.

Yes...yes...before deciding not to play it he should have asked people to shut the f*ck up...

Not a great review, but it's nice to have word from the front line 8)

Alright... Late to the dance....

The show last night was the best I have seen in a long, long time. The Gypsy has a great sound system. There was a solid turn out of about 65% capacity. Von was really on. Vocals were mixed well, clear and powerful. They didn't seem to have as much fun as Austin, but the crowd was behind a baracade 7 feet from the stage. Not the old school, hanging out on the monitors, beating the stage setup that La Zona Rosa has.

Highlights were Crash & Burn, On the Wire, Dominion (of course), the Hot redhead chick with glasses that spent all of Flood2 grinding me (2 back from Catalyst, if your reading this), and Lucretia.

Lucretia set the crowd on fire. I've never seen that much velvet pogo so high! It was exhausting, just the way you like it.

See you in Orlando.

Buddha

out of context...
