Referring to 20-odd years of inconvenience and disappointment as a ”sudden burst” is rather peculiar, pronouns notwithstanding.

Just imagine what The Sisters could do with an actual bass player (really?) and an actual (gasp!) drummer.

Sweden represent. One of the worst band names ever possibly/likely has obscured one of the greatest sleaze pop/rock bands ever.

"Marianne" is noted in pencil by Ezra Pound alongside T S Eliot's original draft for "The Waste Land". Also note the familiar line "Mein Irisch Kind, wo weilest du?" in the same stanza.

That said, I can't for the life of me think of why the guitarists can't be replaced as well. Should sound as ok as a the synth bass and drums have done all these years. Digitised guitars save money. Not that anyone would care, anyways.

Everything after Zoon *is* Mourning Sun. At least it’s an album of actual, new music. Not too shoddy either, I might add.

I like Bethlehem, the band. Not afraid of change.

The notion that Kenny Giles walks on water is, also, I believe, not the truth, at least hitherto unproven. Wouldn’t put beyond him, though.

Given Sweden’s draconian laws on sound volume, how was the...sound volume? The performing band being drowned by mindless chatter has put me off concerts altogether as of lately.

It’s a top-25 of a band who recorded about 30 songs, so unlikely to stir up any emotions. Nice omissions, though, with the notable exception of YCBtO, by all standards known as the band’s finest hour.
