Looks like we experienced a couple/few (?) hours downtime in the wee hours of this morning.

I tried rebooting the server but that didn't seem to have any effect, so I gave it a hard rest, and that seems to have cleared it up now :)

Not sure what happened, but we're back now and there's no data lost.

Phew.

Thanks for your patience

happily, it's been quite a while since i've had to report anything like this, but it seems there was a short period over the weekend when heartland was unavailable :|

on saturday night (about 11.30ish), i started receiving email alerts from an automated site checking service i use that the heartland webserver was not responding

i was able to give the server a quick reboot shortly after that and that fixed the issue. in total i think we were down for about half an hour. maybe slightly more.

tbh, i've no idea why it happened - the logs don't show anything untoward or revealing, but a quick reboot fixed it anyway.

and given the time it happened, most of you probably never even noticed ;D

anyways, yeah. there you go. now you know :)
