Andrew Eldritch 2004 - Composer?
As is the following - from the same site!
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0969074/bio
------------------------------------------------
Biography for Andrew Eldritch
Birth name - Andrew Winston Harvey Taylor
------------------------------------------------
Height 5' 9" (1.75 m)
------------------------------------------------
Founding member of The Sisters of Mercy, a UK-born musical group that was popular throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. The band has undergone various incarnations, and Eldritch is currently the only founding member to retain the band name. Eldritch has not recorded an album of new, commercially-released material in nearly a decade, following a long stretch of legal and creative struggles.
It's speculated that the Sisters could be named after the Leonard Cohen song of the same name, or perhaps after an order of nuns that also calls themselves the SIsters of Mercy.
The Sisters of Mercy has often been associated with the Darkwave/goth movement, although Eldritch is very resentful of that affiliation.

how queer

Stopped crying now. I am not anti-midget. I'm just ...5' 9" ...
Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.

So Eldo is a shortarse, who cares? He made some brilliant music and he likes cats. What more can you ask for?
Actually, having stood beside him in the Blank Canvas at Leeds, I'd have to say 5' 8"/9" is about right.Quiff Boy wrote:pretty much spot on, apart from

whatever
It's just he some how contrives to look 6' + in all the videos.

i'm only about 5'9"/5' 10" and he looked considerable shorter than me when he was mooching about at york and leeds.
i dont think its really an issue - as you say his stage presence is huge - but i always thought of him as about 5'6"/5'7"

What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
I am, as you know from the Angel, only 5' 4", and I reckon he was a good 4" taller than me.
But again, like you say, it's hardly important - though it should be noted that people do "settle" with age.
Any how, Neither of us is going to get all "pistols at dawn" over it.
