Dark's weekly eBay "Update Thing"

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Warning: Newcomers posting here first will be treated like spammers. At least have the courtesy to say hello in General Chat first...

Due to hacking, we've lost some which may have been good just for the archiving purposes. So a fresh start on Update Thing, I think.

Sisters Update: Saturday Mornings

Ghost Dance/March Violets/Bauhaus Update: Wednesday Evenings

Silly Updates: First day of the month

Note that this is totally unauthorised by the admins. But they don't care, and neither should you. Just making life easier.

This week's Sisters Update:

Floodland Cassette
More maxi CD
Sisters Postcard which plays Knocking On Heaven's Door when played at 33rpm. How interesting, I've not seen one of these before.
The green Under The Gun posted elsewhere
Temple of Love, Enter the Sisters, The Reptile House E.P., Alice, Body and Soul and No Time to Cry
A fake The Damage Done, but it seems to have the cross on the church. The ROGIs give it away, however.
Long Train flexi

There are also some (obviously bootlegs) Russian flexidisks, added for interest value only:
Black Planet
Doctor Jeep
Amphetamine Logic
Marian
Ribbons
A Rock And A Hard Place
Vision Thing
When You Don't See Me

Though I do like a couple of them... either way, there you go. With one minute left on the clock, the morning post is done.

I removed James Ray and Salvation. It all happened in a wild moment where I realised that I didn't want to look for 4 bands, 1 of which I'd never heard of, and 1 of which I didn't really like.
So you get Bauhaus instead, cause I'm a bloody goth, and I like to remind you all of it.

Yep. Still waiting for a nice cheap Passion Of Lovers 7". That'll help my record collection to be the greatest in the world*. Maybe even the greatest outside of Lincoln too. ;)

*Space is curved in Leeds, but we can't afford space or a place on your "Earth" in Lincoln. We had to trade it in for the Cathedral and another three bus routes.
