hmm. a tough one.

mine would have to be either the newcastle 85 one, the toronto docks 99 one, or the london forum 2000 (day 2).

all good sound quality, good performances, and some good banter from von

there are a few really good 83/84 ones too, such as one where von has a headache and keeps yelling "shut up"

The "shut up" gig, was it in Stuttgart, Maxim back in 84 ?
I got this one, and Andy said this a couple of time between songs...

I like also the "Floorshow" cd bootleg (long Beach fenders ballroom 85) for the emotive rendition of No time to cry.
I must admit i don't really like the 90-97 period that much, but i got the London forum 2000, and was amazed by the setlist and the sound; (On the wire/Teachers & Giving ground !)

I saw the boys recently launched new-old songs on the set : Lucretia and Neverland. I'm curious to hear this now.

The video for 1983-06-29 Brixton Ace is quite good too, except for that part during Anaconda where the camera person focuses of Von's groin for a bit too long.

Also some of the American gigs from 1991 have Von in a very chatty mood.

There's loads more, but I can't think of any of them at the moment

I really love the Victorian Night boot, with the 'Confide in Me'-cover. Also the Napalm Gods and the two others (can't remember the names rite now) in that series are pretty good.

Funny, seems a lot of people consider Am'83 as their favorite...
... and it was my first Sisters boot too, I think I overused the tape.

I like also the Hamburg, Kir 83. That day i was exactly 10 years old !

One of my all time fave boots is, 22.03.85 Portsmouth, Guild Hall.
Only performance of Anaconda that year, i believe ? and overall the performance is ace.

There was a great bootleg recorded in either Holland or Germany around 84.

Where either Marx or Hussey were obviously trying out a Phazer pedal, every song has swishing sounds, and finishes with a massive whoosh of the phazer!

I think Von probably binned it straight after the show

I loved that tape.

Oh and there was also a very camp nasel chap going. "Oooh Recordin the show are we??? How naughty!!"

After some research supported by Bowmore and chemical substances i must admit that i have two new fave boot

19.02.83 London, Brixton Ace and 11.08.83 London, Electric Ballroom.
These 2 Mixing desk recordings are just plain ace. the doctor sounds agressive as ever and adams bass line is a pulse mayham.
might change my mind when the drugs are over

Hard to say. Offenback '96 is one I really like as IMHO the sound is great & This Corrosion starts sort of matter-of-factly. Brussels '98 because of Sister Ray, Rendsburg '97 because of Adam throwing up & Dublin '97 because of Andrew trying to pick a fight.

Well answered! But I'm not too sure about Offenbach, I'll have to listen to it again.

Last night I really enjoyed Norwich '83.

And I also like 5/2/98 San Francisco, even if my copy is TAO
The next night's gig is only ruined by somebody talking to the guy taping the gig right through the whole show.

Offenbach is a nice short set and I like the combo of Come Together/First & Last & Always/One the Wire - hammers it through. Otherwise it isn't particulary special - he doesn't say much & the crowd is pretty tame as it was during the daytime I believe. London '98 is good too though, if only for getting most of the new tracks.

Might depend on that there very a very small crowd who saw the sisters perform offenbach, not more then 100-150 ppl.

My favorite bootleg video is Brixton Ace 1983. Much better than the Royal Albert Hall vid in my opinion.
