I have come across a cd called 'Evolution' with demos of johnny goodbye, dreams, mexico sundown blues, edie sedgwick, dance and pbr streetgang.
The cd looks like it must have been made at the end of their existance as it has written on the inner sleeve :
'tracks 1 - 5 recorded in 1985 in a small loft in a small town in a small corner of england. these are their first tracks.
Track 6 recorded in 1988 in a large room over looking the red light distric in a lasrge city of a large area of germany. This was their last track.'
Does anyone know if this was widely available at any time.

No. Only 5 hand-numbered copies were made, AFAIK.a.r.kane wrote: Does anyone know if this was widely available at any time.
It is also surprising that you would be able to "come across" an item like this and yet have no idea that it's rare.

I've split some of the comments from this thread out here.

Just keep splitting the offending thread until, everyone forgets who they were originally arguing with.

Give me one good reason

Wah Heat
Echo & The Bunnymen (pre 1986)
Shriekback
Section25
Cabaret Voltaire (1984ish)
