"Thank you for your email to Steve Lamacq at BBC 6 Music
Please note that due to the sheer volume of emails received, although every effort will be made, we are not always able to respond to everyone individually."
If he writes to me I'll ban him as spam.
All (most) of the 6music djs will reply, if not you will definitely at least get a namecheck on air. Marc Riley read my email about the Bunnymen out the other dayBatfish wrote: If he writes to me I'll ban him as spam.

Sorry Quiffy, I'm too lazy.
BUT, whilst in town, I noticed a 7" of Smoke And Mirrors by Black Wire and thought "what the hell, why not?" and bought it. Haven't listened to it yet, but..
I asked "Any local bands' stuff?" and was presented with a free demo CD-R by The Bomb Dogs too.
My only regret was after that, I was £1 short of the amount of money needed to buy some manga.

and this qualifies under the "friends of heartland" clause
we'd do the same for rhombus et al, and would probably even have done the same for young dark's band before he "opted out" of the scheme just now

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Lee you need to tell your browser what program you use for email, it sounds like it doesn't know and it's trying to setup outhouse express for you, and you don't want that. The setting is under tools-> internet options ->programs or something like that...eastmidswhizzkid wrote:tried to but it started asking me stupid questions like what kind of server i got email through so i gave up...sorry!

I'm just bloody surprised Steve Lamacq's still around, and stubbornly sticking to that DJ-ing lark. Thought he went out with "The Evening Session" and parkas being briefly cool again...

Voted for The Ivories, heard them on the radio a while ago and thought they were rather good.
