Can anyone confirm the correct tracklisting for this gig? The one I have is:
FALAA / Luctretia / Body & Soul / Ribbons / Alice / Dominion / Logic / Detonation Boulevard / Marian / This Corrosion / Gimme Shelter / Flood II / Something Fast / Jolene / Valentine / Vision Thing / 1969
From other sites, it seems that Temple Of Love should come between Flood II and Something Fast, but my recording doesn't sound as if anything's been cut. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Mystery no. 1 - 17/04/91 Warfield Theater, San Francisco

Milan 1991 (I think) was being traded as SF 17/04/91.
and just to add confusion to the fire
07 May 1991 Sporthalle, Boblingen, Germany (No Mercy) is being traded as the
16th April 1991 Warfield Theatre, San Francisco show
nothing's straight forward anymore
and then to make matters worse (as if they could ) you will find that the "No Mercy" boot (mentioned above...keep up at the back!) is different from the "Live In The Temple Of Love" boot...yet they are from the same gig...same source...so why do the tracks run in a different order

Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

Yep. 17 April - Warfield Theatre, San Francisco is being traded in some parts of the food chain as 10 March 1991 - Rolling Stone, Milan. Whether through design, is a matter of conjecture. The obvious giveaway is that the crowd chatter on a genuine Milan is - surprise! - in Italian.hallucienate wrote:Milan 1991 (I think) was being traded as SF 17/04/91.
Plus, the No Mercy boot that often appears on ebay with the squiggly artwork (the one one that looks as if it's been been drawn by a 5-year-child?) that purports to be 05 April 1991 - Riviera Theatre, Chicago 1991 (even Chicago 93 ) is in fact a cut 'n' paste job from 07 May 1991 - Sporthalle, Boblingen with tracks mixed up in a nonsensical order, with gaps and fades to both the start and endings of songs to hide it's identity. And it's sh!t hot sound quality and even better than the Boblingen 91 that exists in reality. Go figure.burn wrote: 07 May 1991 Sporthalle, Boblingen, Germany (No Mercy) is being traded as the 16th April 1991 Warfield Theatre, San Francisco show

I find it quite baffling that Sisters traders resort to these sort of tactics. I really do. Why?
Other bands are spot on. Nirvana traders have the whole thing organised. Always searching for the lowest gen and you have to get it verified by the 'powers that be' before you can release it into the foodchain. If a 1st gen is discovered then the 2nd gen is removed from the foodchain and becomes taboo to trade. Or you do so at your own peril. Ok, their avowed m!ssion statement is to only have the best quality boots in the food chain and to "p!ss off Courtney Love" but that's fine by me.
I do of course exclude a lot of people on here from my Sisters traders comments. Tracking down a genuine Milan 1991 took three of us some weeks but we got there in the end.
Footnote: Worse than Sisters traders? Gang of Four traders. They seriously live in an alternate reality. Must be a Leeds thing ...
