That guy is banned from Heartland-- that's why.

I posted the request for a torrent; since I was there I'd like a copy, too. But I don't have anything to trade, nor am I sure I'd want to if I could. I'm guessing it's a lossy source...not that I personally know much about how to tell the difference.

Although, I have to concur with Petseri's comments... I thought the sound wasn't very great (at times), nor the lights, nor the audience interaction. Then again, I only have bootlegs and videos to go by.

But the venue was cool, and all the people seemed nice, too--except for that one annoying guy. Actually, all the people in Vegas were rather nice, insomuch as almost everyone at least kept to themselves and didn't bother you (which is exactly what I did, as well). The Vegas winds, however, weren't so nice.

I read that the city "curfew" for under 18's was 9:00 PM, not 10:00--although I didn't notice anyone *that* young at the show.

I was under the impression that he had been given the opportunity to return and apologise. Must have misunderstood.

Glad you enjoyed the Vegas experience anyway.

I thought of some additional comment about the gig in Legas. So, to continue the posts started earlier in this thread:

30) One of the grocery stores (the main chain, perhaps) is named Vons.

31) I was on the side of the stage where Chris was, so I can not comment too mcuh on Ben's performance, but I did seem to hear more individual elements of "plicking" than with Adam. Adam would get into power chords and his stance, but Ben would move around more. I am not sure if they came from Ben or from Chris or from both, but I recall hearing more notes mixed in with the layers. Power chords were still there, too; how else can we get Summer without them?

32) Chris also was hopping around the venue briefly prior to the gig. He was at the entrance frantically looking for something when I arrived. I asked if he need help finding the stage. ;D He just wanted some cigarettes.

33) Someone on stage afterwards zipped up his fly and asked why nobody told him. I said that it had been down the entire gig. ;D

33) For the conspiracy folks: across the street from Mandalay Bay is the Luxor Hotel. The Sisters played in a venue called Luxor (in Cologne) in 1985. Among the decorations in the hotel is the eye of Horus, as in the cover to Vision Thing. Las Vegas also has Maryland Avenue; Baltimore (as in "still in Baltimore") is in Maryland. Then there is Vons (see #30).

34) I have no idea what kind of glasses Andrew was wearing.

Going through Boulder City, Nevada, I saw a pharmacy called "Von's Sav-on Drugs".

Ben was outside before the show, too--someone asked him about something on myspace, which resulted in a lot of others jeering the guy who asked.

...and I asked about trying to seed the supposed Las Vegas recording myself; as of yet I haven't gotten a reply.

Yes, great pics, keep 'em coming.

Am glad that the 'Vanilla Ice jacket' as someone described it on these pages a little while back, is still going strong. Maybe he should glue studs to the back that spell 'Word to Your Mother', or better yet, 'Dice'.

Hehe. I was going to post this one, but you beat me to it. Well done--and welcome, Siren, to the Reptile House!
