Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
I've only just checked this thread for update on the new guitarist and...
Congratulations, Scardwel! I suppose this new job means a lot to you, and I'm really happy with the news!
Great - 2 Mr Ray's bands
Shame that I probably can't go - mostly because of the Sisters tour.
Anyway, I think some days ago Gangwar wasn't listed (I saw an ad and direct link to WGT site in a local industrial forum which I check very rarely).
Also this year, we will only announce bands which are confirmed 100% in written form for the Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
So, check back often...
I wonder why they had to put in that disclaimer this year
I have been there once, in 2000: Wanted to see Phillip Boa, London After Midnight and Clan Of Xymox. No one of them performed. I was standing before the stage when Boa had to start but then everything went wrong
The 4th thing I wanted to see was Death In June. Later I heard they did a brief unplugged set in an odd small stage, the same time when most of the bands (who hasn't left and were agree to play without getting paid or at least under very strange circumstances) were performing on a big stage.
Now I'm not interested in a gothic festival anymore. Although James Ray bands and Nitzer Ebb are appetizing

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

There will be some spiffing new Gangwar 2006 T-shirts available at the gigs (or by mail order if you ask nicely). I'll post a photo later so you can see how spiffing they are!
