I'd recommend you read it all, it's quite interesting and I've seen nothing that redeems Bush in my eyes as of yet
Is George W Bush the antichrist?
Nah, it's Thatcher.

In order for there to be an anti-christ there has to be a christ, which there isn’t. So no, he’s not the anti-christ. He’s just a bastard.
someone needs to find the people that are voting for him and talk some sence into them! Wasn't there talk of minor nuclear strikes on Iran now among Bush and co? Way to go Bush, use nukes for the first time since the second world war, that'll make the world a better place

Ah I see, you want me to earn my wage so the government can tax it away from me and pay you because your too damn lazy to earn a real mans wage.
Good now we have that settled, kiss my ass.
I want to work for my wage, and take care of my family and see they do better than I have done.
Got a problem with that?

Correctly by whose law? I’m certainly not going to follow barbaric, out-of-date morals created by men who closed their eyes and wrote down what ‘god inspired them to do.’ Sure, there are some good morals in a the Bible - ‘thou shalt no kill’ being one of them - but none that a baby couldn’t figure out on its own.JAMES RAY wrote:whether gods or demons or bastads exist is not the point. The fact that the universe appears as if they do is enough for you to perform correctly
And the fact that these morals are seen as absolute is sickening. Let’s say a woman shows up at your door bruised and battered, begging you to take her in and hide her from her abusive husband. You take her in, you bathe her, clean her wounds, feed her, then you hear a knock at the door. It’s her husband brandishing a baseball bat. “Have you seen my wife? he says. Now, what are you going to do? If you follow the Bible and it’s absolute rules strictly, you’d have to say she’s in your house otherwise you’d be lying, which in God’s eyes is a sin. But, it would be morally wrong to tell this man the truth, because you would bring unnecessary harm to a woman. That’s what morals are for, to prevent unnecessary harm. Morals should not be absolute.
Religion just pisses me off so much. “Our god is the correct god. “No, you poor fool, our god is the correct god. We’ll pray for you. “No, our god is the correct god, we have proof: our holy text! and so on and so on. And the very idea that there is this all loving God who loves you no matter what but will send you to hell to burn for eternity if you don’t follow his rules and worship him is pathetic, how low does your ego have to be that you’ll damn people to hell for not believing in you.
Another problem is God’s ability to know what’s going to happen before it happens. He knew what was going to happen before it happens, right? So, logically that would mean there is only one outcome. So God knew when he created the universe that the devil would rebel, which people were going to hell, etc. We don’t have a choice. He condems us from word go. Of course, this begs the question why did god create the universe then? He’s either an evil bastard or has no free will himself, this of course contradicts the Bible.
And what’s with all those people that think they know God personally and snigger at everyone else who claims to know God personally because it doesn’t have the same personality as theirs? “God talks to me. You gotta be f**king schizophrenic! If someone said “the angel of death talks to me you’d have them in an asylum, but not holy “righteous“ people, oh no.
Anyway, Morals aren’t absolute. There is simply an event and then various moral interpretations of the event. That’s why I don’t follow anyone’s morals but my own, I have my own ethical system. It’s just a coincidence that I have the same view as the majority of the ’masses’ or whatever you will that Bush is a complete bastard.
Uh… I didn’t expect this to turn into a rant about religion. The stuff is just so demeaning to humanity and brings so much harm that it pisses me off. I don’t care if you worship a God and that makes you feel good as long as you don’t force it down my throat and it doesn’t start brining harm to humanity.
I wrote this in such a frenzy that I’ve forgotten what the conversation was all about.
EDIT: most drunken spelling mistakes are now corrected.

No problem. But I object to your comment about me "taking money from the government for being too lazy to earn a real man's wage". If I was out of school, perhaps I would agree, but until then, I think I have a valid excuse for not working.von#1165 wrote:Ah I see, you want me to earn my wage so the government can tax it away from me and pay you because your too damn lazy to earn a real mans wage.

Some people don't earn a wage, not because they are lazy, but because they have problems, are ill etc and in fact they suffer because they would like to work but they cannot. To be honest I'm glad England has some form of support for those worse off because it encourages positivity and a sence of community apart from among people that think they are better than others and more deserving beacuse their pay slip has a few extra figures on it. That support system is available to all of us....and in Britain our taxes arent going on benefits alone, I'm sure every briton has used the nhs more than their fair share of times, and maybe if you understood how much nhs healthcare costs, each operation, each doctors appointment, each of your kids dental appointments etc then I'm sure you would be more than grateful to just be paying the pitance of tax that you do in comparison

I agree. I don't like the implication that some people make that anyone who isn't working is some sort of sponger - like the kind of lifestyle offered by benefits is fun. It's just reactionary ignorance and it iritates me.daggs wrote:Dark wrote:No problem. ...as for Bush being the antichrist. No I don't think so. He's just a very stupid, very backwards man who's been put in a position of power through nepotism.

Also, by some method or another, it's easy to get most names to relate to the number 6, probably 66 and 666 too at a stretch. The fact that he made an announcement in 1999, which has, shock and horror, an upside-down 666 in it, is really quite pathetic to use as justification.
yeah I know the number stuff was abit of a stretch! Bill Gates name and microsoft have also been said to add up to 666
But I do think it's quite dodgy that Bush has/does belong to a satanic cult yet tells everyone he's doing things in the name of God
