Definitely his first solo release, although he was in a number of bands before then.

This is a list of bands he was in before the Sisters (after a few minutes googling. :D )

Foxglove (1978) no records released?

The Ded Byrds/Walkie Talkies (June'78-Nov'79) released at least 1 single

Hambi and the Dance (late'79-1980) no records released?

Knopov (1980) many lineup changes. released an LP, dunno if Wayne is on it

That Guitarist-And The Dance Goes On (Sept'1980) song on "trip to the dentist LP"

Pauline Murray & the Invisible Girls (1980/81) not credited on any of the records (I collected them all years ago) and probably doesn't feature on any of them, despite what you might read on the net

Dead or Alive (1981/82/83??) presumably features on their records
