Got this mix claiming to be a Sisters remix

The song is called Bulls Run by a group called Tarsis. It is basically a techno song made with something like Rebirth software, with some vocals in english. The MP3 I got just has Sisters Of Mercy Remix on it.

I remember reading that Von was involved in some Techno projects a while back. Was that just SSV or was there something more to it?

No, I've been through the whole site and couldn't find anything either. The Tarsis info is in Musik, then click on Tarsis B.

They have a few mp3 samples but I can't find any mention of the Bulls Run song. I guess it must be another misnamed file. It's possible that someone put Sisters Mix on it because the vocals sound a little like Eldritch.

After more than a five year lay off The Sisters Of Mercy are due to break Their recording silence in 1998. The band, centered around frontman Andrew Eldritch who was recently linked to new outfit SSV, have just completed their first major European tour since 1993 including two shows at the London Forum. "It's not so much of a comeback since we've never really been away from the live circuit per se, just England," says the black throated one. "We toured because there's still a chance that (former label) EastWest might stupidly try and put out a record that I recently delivered to them under a different name." That record being the SSV project which features a spoken word only performance by Eldritch over an ambient score. "Basically, SSV is the record that frees me from my conract with EastWest I've been 'on strike' for the last seven years and now we have to go out there as the Sisters and persuade people that SSV means nothing and shouldn't be considered in anyway a Sisters endorsed product SSV is alarmingly dull and no one should go near it!" However, the one-time Goth lord is adamant that Sisters fans will finally get to hear new product sooner rather than later. "Because it's been years since we last released any new material (1990's 'Vision Thing') I think we owe it to people to do a big tour and release some major records. So as soon as we're contractually able to put my voice on a record, which should be soon, we will be releasing a number of independent singles in the spring." Depending upon which side of the high court you prefer to stand, Eldritch may (or may not) have also been found tinkering with the odd computer game soundtrack and, according to the man in black, Sisters fans may also hear "more familiar music" on two low-key releases through the band's own Mercyful Release label called 'Paris Riots' and 'The Leeds Underground'.

and the Leeds Underground, seems to be a film festival. now I know he was a judge at a film festival not so long back, so who knows?

Also, can anyone remember the name of the band that supported the Sisters at Brixton 97. There were two support bands. One was Cubanate (btw here is what Marc Heal from Cubanate had to say about Von) :

"I think that Andrew Eldritch is an extraordinarily cool individual. He is the coolest person I have met, because I thought it was all going to be an act. It isn’t, or if it is, it’s just a superlative one. When we played with the Sisters, word came through from the Sisters dressing room, has anyone got any speed? Andrew wants some speed. So, I just happened to have some speed on me, so I went in, and there was Eldritch there like some sort of king, with all these gorgeous gothettes all draped around the room. So, I chopped him out a line, and he said, "I knew I chose the right support band." When we were soundchecking, he was standing by the side of the stage, so I thought I’d better go and say "Hi" and be sociable. So, I said, "Hi Andrew, thanks for having us, you know," and he said, "The Sisters of Mercy like Cubanate." I started laughing, saying, "That’s, uh, great, Cubanate like the Sisters of Mercy. Fancy a shag?" and he said, "Maybe later." That man’s cool. He’s the only man who’s ever worn a Hawaiian shirt and looked cool. The only man who can wear pointy shoes and look cool. Him and Nick Cave are the only exceptions."

But what was the other band? I remember chatting to the singer later on, as far as I can remember he said they were signed to Merciful Release and he wouldn't give me a free demo! All I remember was that they were German.
