Kathmandu, I tell you
yes I have them - and I think over the years I've gone above and beyond, in my gig going duties...Bristol's friggin miles away - at least Julian played during my half term holidays.

and the SISTERS live page has it in plural as well, so how about a great gig on the south coast, Pompey, Bornemouth or Brighton a history of great SISTERS gigs in these towns.ruffers wrote:His myspace says

Can someone explain to me... why do they hop from Nottingham to Glasgow then back down to Bristol? Why don't they do all of the venues that are clustered together one after the other?
Surely the tour would make more sense in this order: London, Nottingham, Bristol, Norwich, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, or something like that?
Am I missing something here?

I think that's just 'the way it fitted the venues best', they're doing the same thing here, first Paris, all the way to Göteborg, and then back down to Brussels, to go into Germany (Berlin or even Luxemburg) back again and return to Amsterdam after. Might be other explanations though, but it never made any sense to me...boudicca wrote:Can someone explain to me... why do they hop from Nottingham to Glasgow then back down to Bristol? You can only play a certain venue when it's available.boudicca wrote:Can someone explain to me... why do they hop from Nottingham to Glasgow then back down to Bristol? Why don't they do all of the venues that are clustered together one after the other?

Just a thought, but I guess that can be a factor.

I think it may have something to do with arranging gigs after the original tour had been arranged - I presume they lined up a short tour, then realised that then fans wanted more and more of them - we all want a little piece - and had to arrange some more.boudicca wrote:Can someone explain to me... why do they hop from Nottingham to Glasgow then back down to Bristol? Has anyone managed to buy tickets yet?
The link from the website doesn't want to work.

Can't believe they added this after I bought Astoria tickets and booked me train etc! Never mind, it means I'll be seeing them twice this year as it'd be very rude not to see them in my home city, so can't grumble really...
the only thing to fear is fear itself
i think ive even worked out the logisitics of bristol -> brussels in one fell swoop thanks to an accidental insight on travelocity that a return on eurostar on the 11th is only 79 quid! add in a quick advance return ticket to bristol and bob's my.. mate.
"When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised God doesn't work that way, so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness"
I bought two tickets for Bristol yesterday. Am I correct that Bristol was the only gig on the Smoke & Mirrors tour that sold out? That may explain the location.
And what can I expect from an end of tour gig?

If it's anything like the topic for Norwich then all the regular Heartland members will say it was fantastic, great night out, sound was loud & clear etc etc and then you'll get a load of newbies signing up saying they couldn't see or hear anything and people were leaving early.hellboy69 wrote:lookin forward to hearin how bristol rocks out
