I use my mobile as my alarm. This morning I woke up naturally. No moby in sight and then '... s**t! s**t! s**t!' No clocks upstairs so ran downstairs. 06:55! 's**t!' One hour late or two hours late for work? I'm doing the getting ready/bus times/train times calculation in my head whilst running around like a headless chicken. After 5mins I just suddenly stopped.
Johnny, it's Saturday. You don't work on Saturdays.
Once every six months this demon comes to visit me. Am I alone?
Late for work ... or not?
You're never alone on Heartland. :vomicon:
I never panic in the morning. Except when some bugger's smoked all my cigarettes.
So what's your alarm tune? Mine's Pink Floyd's Time. Those clocks scare the s**t out of me every time.

And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.
How could I complain? I was staying overnight at your house.Francis wrote:Except when some bugger's smoked all my cigarettes.
But 10/10 for you as you went to local shop in the morning before I'd woken up.

Mmm, must try that..
Spent all of last week either sleeping through my phone alarm or somehow finding that I had either slept on it, thus turning it off, or turned it off in my sleep..
Perhaps my subconcious is telling me something about my job...
Anyways, I have Lucretia and Flood II on my mobile this now, really need to play them on a bus when someone decides that all and sundry would love a bit of dancehall/bashment first thing in the morning...
bastichs..
I give you the finger but you want the whole hand...

My mobile goes bing...bingy-bing...bing-bing-bingly bing...
And gets increasingly annoying the longer you leave it.
Miss Sinister's usually goes off at the same time, and it's her ring-tone, which is an evil laugh! I'm getting more and more paranoid come morning, so my body usually wakes me up just prior to our alarms. Hence, I suffer from the same problem as Johnny ALL THE TIME.

Mine know it is useless trying to wake mummy... The cat still tries, but he is young and very hungry in the mornings. He will soon learn.Who needs alarm clocks when you've got a dog?
Working nights means no more early morning calls... Hate mornings!

was an mp3 of "no time to cry" but it was too groovy and i always left it on.
is now an mp3 of the cure's "100 years". wake up with a start? you betcha!
and yes, i'm usually "late" for work, ie: i get in just after 9.30 (thank you transpennine express!), but luckily it doesnt matter in my current role

my rinalarm tone is 'this is the chris moyles show' which is hell of an incentive to get out of bed
I don't wanna live like I don't mind
This happends to me too. To often. I think it mostly happends when I drank to much the night before a Saturday.Johnny M wrote:I use my mobile as my alarm. This morning I woke up naturally.
