"Sisters" in Bristol - Tuesday 22nd April - Who?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Academy is a good venue.

Three balconys.

Stage not too deep, and across from the Hatchet, one of the best pubs in Bristol

I spent the whole of the robert plant gig there sat backstage and the gig was pounding through the wall great!!!

Mind you I went there 10 years ago to see Jurassic Park, cause then it was a cinema

Also above the venue is an ice rink, that was once the famous bristol Studios that the Sister played in 85!

First Sisters gig I have been to since the Vision Thing days (NEC, early 90's). What have I been doing all these years? :?

Hope everyone going to Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds has a good one. Sorry I can't there but its back to earth (work) with a bump today with just the vision of smoke and the ringing in my ears to get me through the day.
