The "Spiral Scratch" interview was pretty much an official release. Not an official Merciful or TSOM release, but official in that Spiral Scratch had permission to release it.
The Baktabak releases are a bit of a grey area. IIRC, there was no law stating that releasing interviews was legal or not, so Baktabak wasn't breaking any laws when they set up and released a load of interviews. I'm not sure how the law stands now, but the Baktabak interview discs were certainly not illegal.

Maybe someone can help clear this matter up? Image

Just out fo curiosity, which if those boots is valuable? Is there some place where bootleg values are discussed? I simply have no idea anymore... in the FAQ perhaps? Is Green Eldy worth something?

Does anyone know how much the 'Six Disques Bleues' Abstract records French boxed set is worth?

It contains.... 6 x blue vinyl 12" eps and lps including The Three Johns, the first New Model Army lp and They Shall Not Pass CNT compilation.

I don't see it listed in anyone's collection above!
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

A lot of boots are worth very little (for example, many bootlegs are nothing but reissues of "Psychedelic Sessions", and some have appalling quality), but many which were discovered to be bootlegs by the authorities whilst they were in the pressing plants were destroyed, and only a handful got out.
Green Eldritch, IIRC, is worth over £150, but I can't remember why. :P
