That Guitarist - Crewe Limelight

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just got back from the gig, was pretty good for one man and his guitar. ;)

nice version of wicked game in the middle of blood brothers.. and the sisters even got a mention, after someone asked for a kylie song.

So anyone else go/going ? or am i the only one? hehe

I was gonna go down, but I couldn't really afford it.
Just out of interest, what was the place like? and was there much of a crowd?

I was there, and maybe about 100 or so others. The limelight is quite a nice little venue, with decent beer (Fullers London Pride). The gig was pretty good, with a few surprises, a couple of brand new songs, some old favourites, and... a cover of 'A Night Like This' by The Cure!
At one point someone in the audience shouted for a Kylie song and Wayne replied "...I think I'll leave that to my old partner in crime... The Sisters do a Kylie song don't they...? they do Confide In Me, I think..."

I've seen him better to be honest...but it WAS first gig of the tour.

Cheers for the lift Scardy...sorry I was such dull company, I was f*cking knackered after a week's worth of the Sisters!
