i get a pretty decent bandwidth allowance with my hosting package (about 30gb a month i think), and the forum uses php and gzip compression so that the actual html thats piped to your browsers is a fraction of the real size anyway

it gets me by.... not cheap though!

but that one has been revised since i took it out, and i get more bandwidth but less extras.

but the idea of accepting paypal contributions had occured to me... but only on a purely voluntary basis

Well - let me know, happy to help. I presume no one does, but it would be easy to treat Heartland as a "service". The nice thing is it is an "urban guerilla" operation

Think a voluntary contribution would be the only way to do it as anything else would water it down.

about paypal - i have mastercard and there has never been any problem using it for buying books from British Amazon or CD-s from German or Swedish mailorders but there isn't my country in the paypal's list -- so, i can't use this service

I would offer free hosting for HL, but the company I work for is too small, bandwidth in this country too expensive and I'm a bit off the internet backbones in Europe and the States

The only pop-up I've ever enjoyed was the one I received on the 30th April from the management.
