never played live

Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....

Off the top o' me head, and restricting it to officially released tracks:

Home Of The Hitmen
Phantom
Kiss The Carpet (Reprise)
Afterhours (but do the intros count?)
Poison Door
Bury Me Deep
Black Planet
Torch
Colours
1959
Driven Like The Snow
Untitled
Sandstorm
YCBTO

Some of these have obvious reasons for never having been played. Black Planet is the main one, and I reckon that the main reason - at least in 85 - was that they couldn't find a satisfactory live arrangement.

Interestingly, VT is the only LP where every song has been played live.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

1959 was kinda played (think it was a gig way back in the early 90's), they started playing the line and Von said something along the lines of "You're 10 years too early" then 1969 kicked in.

June 27 1992, Birmingham NEC - but hey, on the bright side we got an a capella version of Stop Dragging My Heart Around...

That's the one. Why is I can remember useless Sisters trivia from way back, yet I have no idea what I ate for breakfast?

it's been played live loads, more so in 1983/4: MH is (humouressly i presume) stating that the 6th track off of the reptile house hasn't been played live.

PD was played at a radio show in 84, but I guess that's all. Only Ghost Dance played it during an actual live gig.

And damn well, too. They introduced it (on both occasions that I have) as "This is one that you all should know".

Why they didn't release it, I don't know.
