I'm not RJD's biggest fan, but his work with Rainbow is boss.
Now what's all this bollocks you're talking about G 'NR and The Six Patels?

SAHB were the very first live band I ever saw, they supported Mott The Hoople in 1972 at the Glasgow Apollo, so they had a major impact on me.
Uriah Heep were pish after Gary Thain was sacked.

OOPS, missed that last sentence... well I wouldn't like to break up a good debate, especially afterI started it.
But whilst I realise i 'm juggling with a large piece of swiss cheese and there are a large number of ouch! (sorry Tony Carey is getting a bit carried away in the headphones) Clash apologists on Sauchiehall Street,
I feel there is a certain amount of truth in my 'argument'
UH 'There's a light in the Black'?

I loved SAHB after seeing them on supersonic on ITV whne Mike Mansfield was probably doing his 'best work'
Next , Delilah and Boston Tea Party ..top quality Saturday morning TV , not what you'd be allowed these days!
And have I I've finally met someone who appreciates Salisbury, Look at Yourself , Demons and Wizards , The Magicians Birthday and ..sort of Wonderworld
I used to live near David Byron , first time I suffered loss of rock star sadness
Mind you Ian Gillan lent me his spanners to mend my bike when I had a spot of trouble with my mud guard on my paper round once!

The wonderful techno-lite Mortal Coil sampling 'Did I Dream?', no idea who it's by but I've got in on some comp or other. Put on the IJ courtesy of Sinnie.

Don't mind the tune, but it'd love to finally get to the end of the movie Tried watching it three times already now, but fell asleep every time. Not fit for watching to in bed while you're sleepy then, I guess :lol
Loved the first 45 minutes though
