The Forced Oscillations

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Only just got round to listening to this now (forgot I'd grabbed it  )

Continuing the 17 Seconds vibe, reminds me of Play For Today quite a lot. I don't know if that's intentional or if you came up with the sound independently, but me likes nonetheless. :notworthy:
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Not sure where you get play for today from?

More sort of No time to cry meets heartland meets another journey by train.

Nice.
When are the vocals going on?
Cheers.

do you mean your attention goes away from the music?
the same effect for me, indeed
thanks
well, we've got now:
5 own songs (older industrial/metal/punk stuff is currently paused)
plus cover of this song
the shared version is an old instrumental badly recorded demo with no live bass
sorry, as always
actually, only words and 3 chords stayed from the original, so it's kinda our song, too
plus Walk Away and Alice
there will be a gig on 31st March, so i'll share the stuff
studio recordings are also planned someday

finally it happened at 30th March in another venue, because the original one was closed suddenly
umm...
for those couple blokes, who dare to listen such crap
Blow Up 30.03.2007
the sound is a video-rip, so when camera-man moves, sound changes, too
sometimes in a worse direction
Walk Away (version) there is: the guy, whom we invited to sing, didn't learn everything properly, so he was just mumbling laying on a floor
it looked rather funny, so we did couple mistakes - laughing
and he walked away ( ) in the beginning of a next song
so i had to sing myself with an ill throat
prepare the rotten tomatoes

Some bugs, that's ok, but beside that this is real crazy good stuff, especially track 1 "Дневники" (btw: nice guitar solo).

Well, I just can say: PLAY IT LOUD!!!!

Maybe you can tell us, what are the lyrics are about?

The vocals remind me of the mighty Berurier Noir. Now there's an achievement! :notworthy:

oh, thank you
here're the rough translations

01 - Дневники (Diaries)

A bad weather in the night
Pretty dawn in the morning
You've spent so much years
In the search of happiness

Being excited
You haven't finished that line
And your diaries
Will burn down in a second

The time is running out
In a weird kaleidoscope
Somebody is laughing
Probably on you

Throw away the hesitations
Do it easily
Without a regret
You burn your diaries

A bad weather in the night
Pretty dawn in the morning
Tired of wandering
You get your gun

With a sigh of joy
You free away your sins
The diaries burnt down
As your life

02 - Кислоты (Acids)

The smell of milk irritates my flesh,
The taste of meat is disgusting,
The canned food and vegetables will be thrown away,
The water will turn into vinegar.

Acids will penetrate into blood,
Hair comes out, the bladder is splitting,
Acids will penetrate into blood,
The Chief Constructor has died and so have we.

03 - Обречённость (Totally doomed)

Tramway driver watches gloomy
At the rusty rail, that is in front of him
Tape recorder broken a long rime ago
The wheels knock: "Ding ding ding ding"

Puncher doesn't finish anyone's white
Ticket with a line on it for a long time
Conductor doesn't check the tickets
Conductor had become the skeleton

Rusty rail leads to nowhere
There will be no "end of route" station

Who are they.
French anarchist alternative rock band from the 80s. One singer, one guitarist, one drum machine, and a hell of a mess on stage.
They reunited a few years ago.
I'd end this moment to be with you
Through morphic oceans I'd lay here with you

thx for translating the tracks - sounds good.

Is that all (instrumentals/lyrics) your idea or are you share/split that work with your band mates?

music is mostly mine
new members rehearsed with us only a couple times, so no new material with them involved
the bassist is used to enhance my basslines or compose his own (sometimes)
except older industrial punk songs, i wrote the words only for two songs: Обречённость (Totally doomed) and Прошедший день (A passed day)
Дневники (Diaries) and Декабрь (December) words are written by the guy i played with in 2000-2001 in school (music is the same old, but now totally reworked)
Посадочный талон (Ticket thing) - by two seriously older girls, we've got some experience  (juvenile mistake)
Кислоты (Acids) - cover of Ночной Проспект; their words and harmony (Am Bm F), my music
actually, that's all (of post-punk thing)
the new songs are coming out too slow, because i'm kinda busy guy and i'm the only composing member (of still_2_men_band)
so if anyone is fan of "17 Seconds", "Some Girls..." and "FALAA" and able to use Guitar Pro 4, he is welcome to finish some of my demos (eldritch help is appreciated :von: )
thanks for being interested
