I think the Sisters need to get a new one or they will loose the trust of promoters (festivals, big venues ...).

Surely if you've paid your money to see a band you should expect them to be prepared and ready to put on a good show.
You wouldn't go to a restaurant, pay good money and *hope* that the food will be alright. You expect it to be of some standard.

Surely the Lorca gig would have been a lot better if I had attended it (as far as judging by reviews is concerned). But don't worry, all is not lost, Zottegem and Geiselwind will be awesome, I can already assure you of that.

probably he's involved in Sisters' programme of being s**t/best time by time
regarding Alice from Lorca i can hear too loud bass and crappy mix for vocals
in Moscow they were OK, but too loud drums then

Paris and Luxembourg 2006 were good...
... but Motörhead in Nancy last week (just to name one) was much better, and I'm getting tired of those set lists that never significantly change.

Count me not amongst your number, young James. I just think they've gone sh*t, and I can't see how they can get it back, given the general situation (human anything more than what you get being financially unavailable).
Doesn't make their impact on me any less, I just won't entertain the idea of travelling anywhere soon to see 'em.

sad, that we have to consider attendance at gigs in terms of likely people we'll meet up with, but there you go...wouldn't be surprised if he's playing these daft out of the way places just to 'test' even more

They called it 1991, it was awesome...
I think it's fairly obvious his voice is shot to the point where the desk & most PAs aren't enough to compensate, regardless of whos mixing the sound. He really needs to think about how he's going to sing if they're to keep touring

My contribution is that I agree with the bass player and the setlist. You allready know the rest of my opinion...obviously.
Meeting people is great but not a must to visit a gig. Certainly not!

After all we are going and hope to enjoy and feel good. For some it was okay, for others it was better. For you it was okay....for me it was
great.
Maybe my experience was even better because some people stated that the silver bullet was a farewell tour!

Have to agree with Stu on this one. Was watching Krakow '06 last night followed by Miami '91 - the difference in performance is just worlds apart. The energy and attitude from 1990-91 was awesome but there's just so much missing from the performances nowadays and has been for a few years now
Setlist's have never really varied that much (per tour) but I think the sheer ordinariness of the gigs and the mundane delivery of the songs simply highlights the fact that it's the same old routine each time. It wouldn't take too much effort to throw in the odd surprise choon now and again, or even do something different with the lighting. Each gig should be a unique experience, influenced by venue and crowd and performance...not simply a std, predictable 'off-the-shelf' routine lost amidst a long list of tour dates.
I kinda get the impression that Eldritch just can't be arsed anymore, but will probably keep doing it as long as punters keep paying to see them. It's the easy option.
