Sistersish

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

So erm, yes. My first post. Well. Hello.

First & Last + Floodland have to be two of my favorite ever albums. I could and do frequently listen to Flood / Flood II / Driven Like the Snow / Neverland on repeat for days on end. First & Last - the material seems to sound better on the few live things I have and I know it's not a big fave amongst 'real fans' but I love the sound of the Wake video. Somewhere I have a f**k Me and Marry Me Young T-shirt. Somewhere...

Do we have many 'classic lineup' fans amongst us?

I hadn't even heard of the Sissies until '88, so I never got to know the original lineup. Alas.
I left my heart in Ballycastle...

Indeed. I like Andrew on drums and Gary on guitar. Though I suppose I'll accept the Body Electric lineup too.

Nah, that was too many years before I was born... welcome anyway. ;)

Hiya

First And Last And Forever :D

Its all excellent stuff - but I'm certainly a fan of the Von/Huss/Marx/Adams lineup.

Welcome *waves*

EDIT: ooo you live in London? You hang around the clubs much? Or get to any gigs or events?
