Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....

Can anyone post a picture of the inlay card for the cassette version of Floodland?

Is it different to the LP / CD version with the word Floodland at the bottom in stead of at the top to the right of The Sisters of Mercy?

Thanks in advance

If I can dig it out tonight I'll scan it tomorrow.

The tape version was all I had until a couple of years ago ... until then I had no idea the CD had Colours on it.

Can't remember specifics of what mine looked like, it fell apart a long time ago. From what I do recall, it was very similar to lachert's. Although I think "The Sisters of Mercy" might have been above the picture box, but no way can I say that for certain.

Yup, Torch but no Colours. It also had the extended TC and DLTS - probably to make both sides about the same length.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Thanks for the replies - sorry I will intro myself straight away in the other thread

I thought I may have stumbled across a prize on ebay the other day as the layout from this printers proof was different to the LP / CD, and wondered if it was an experimental design that was ditched, but it would seem from lachert's post it may just be the standard art work for the tape...I picked it up anyway for £15, should looked pretty good framed.

Lachert's is slightly different. The picture has a border and there's the EastWest logo on the spine whereas yours doesn't look bordered and has the Head/Star on the spine.

Mine's all black, and has no inside photo of Eldo and Pat, just lyrics... Weird!

Is your's the Elektra US release? My copy of the US version of Floodland LP has a paper inner bag with the lyrics on it instead of the pull-out lyric-sheet/photo of Von and Pat.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.
