March Violets gig

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Phew! And there I was getting paranoid about it having gotten lost among the usual deluge of spam.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

There is a Facebook "Event" for this...

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=5676879836

If any of you use it, can you invite friends and get them to tell their friends etc etc. etc. who may not have heard about the gig through here... the more bodies there the better (not to mention, if it is a full house they may be tempted to do a few more gigs...)

no, we dont want the night ruining.

Says me, who'll be spreading out at the bar the minute 25 Men (or JR or whatever) have exited stage left.

Grooving in green? Yep, from a distance.

Their problem is that one lives in the outer hebrides & one darn sarf.
Hope they get more than an afternoon's worth of practice in. That's all they got for Richard's 40th. They need to play more than 4 songs too...... oh and Dan needs to remember the words this time.

So all sorted here then. Now all I need is some of that weird stuff you people call "money" (lower denominations being larger than higher denominations - what's all that about then?) and Bob's me uncle! :D

I was wondering much the same, so I hopped on their MySpace for a quick listen.

Reckon I'll be joining Quiffy in the bar.
Just done the same thing, and will be doing the same thing :urff:

Strange thing is, I said to me bird "All we need now is Salvation and we'll have the whole shooting match" (Of course it was completely lost on her, as she'd never heard of them) Lo and behold...

Rose of avalanche, that'd be awesome, we should leave loads of comments on the MV myspace page, with exactly that thought ;)

Just ordered Salvation, The Complete Collection, better swat up before the live extravaganza. In fact the only 12" I have by Salavation is Debris, which doesn't seem to feature on the Complete Collection, seems to be over selling itself :innocent:
