Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server - Whats It Worth

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Calling all IT Professionals who also happrn to be Heartland Members ;-)

I have question to ask - I have a complete, sealed copy of Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server - Version 4 - 5 Client Access - Consisting of 2 cds and the manual/CD key.

What I want to know is how much this item is worth, if anything? I know there are a few IT Professionals on this wonderful forum and any advice on price would be great.

I also assume that Windows Professional 2000 Server and Windows XP Pro Server are now being used by business so my software is likely to be obsolete.

Thanks in advance

Andy

Hi Andy

As you suspect it has been pretty much superceded, however would be perfect for a small office that is not too concerned with being 100% up to date.

This link for dabs.com still lists it at £1200 -

It's all down to finding someone that wants it I guess, if you can find them you should be able to get a few hundred I would guess..
