Brixton Ace/Academy 1983 Footage Question

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

29/6/83 or 6/4/83 ?

I'm wondering whether this may be the same show that's being confused by different collectors or not ... for e.g.

http://www.myheartland.co.uk/viewtopic. ... 2bbd2f4252

I note that no one who lists the one date and venue seems to also include the other in their collection ... and most of them are pretty thorough.

There appear to be some conflicting setlists as well:

http://hapcibeno.free.eplanet.hu/_dwad_ ... planet.hu/

http://www.sisters.co.za/trade/covers/

Anyone know whether these are one in the same or two entirely different video recordings? And if they are the same ... which is the correct date?

me think correct is 29/6/83 for brixton ace video but there are alsow 2 audio recordings from brixton ace in the same year: 19/02/83 and 06/04/83.
3 brixton ace gigs from 1983 but only one - 29/06/83 - on video or maybe i don't know about something... :D

Thank you for clearing that one up!

Looks like there are some mis-dated copies of this around (mine included!).

Supported by The Smiths on the 29th June 1983, what a bill!
Give me one good reason

There's a rather good recording of The Smiths' performance, I wonder if the guy recorded the Sisters as well. Flesh For Lulu were also on the bill (they played before The Smiths).
