Chinese Burn

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi, newbie in town. Well, new here anyhow, as I've been going to see the Sisters since 1984.

Anyhow, I was wondering what people thought of Von's famous discarding of learning Chinese. Ever wondered if he regrets that now; what with China being the biggest, fastest growing economy in the world? I'm trying to learn Chinese myself now, and believe me it's not a love of languages that's driving me on! Just imagine how many cats he could feed off the back of an Imperial Chinese version of Dominion/Mother Russia, sung native!

Wilkommen!

Someone I know was foreign-Chinese-speaking-world-champion or something like that  (you can't make it up but it does sound cool to me)

Not that I speak a word other than what I read off the menu and some car brands

When I lived in Bromley, I used to deliver newspapers to the Hong Garden take away on my paper round. :D

Dunno if there is any connection, but as Siouxsie was in the Bromley Contingent, seems a bit of a coincidence.
