Glauchau 97

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Reg. the boot that has been weeded recently. Is this actually the Glauchau gig? I'm checking the set list on Hals page and also the Tours page.

On Hals page it doesn't mention Ribbons or Come Together, and on the Tour site it says that Vision Thing was the final song played. Possibly this wasn't recorded due to the Sisters taking a while to get back on stage (people were already leaving the site) or at least wasn't available on the bootleg I have got. The rest of the setlist is correct though.

The setlist on the tours site is correct.

As far as I'm aware, there are two bootlegs of Glauchau available, although both are taken from the same source. 2CD is complete, 1 CD is missing vision thing.

The 1CD version is home-made CDR bootleg that someone gave the title "in the shadow of the sun" I guess vision thing was dropped to make it fit on 1CD.

17 tracks 77:39

My copy of the complete recording is 2CDs, 70:34 & 14:59.

Sound is below average on both versions.

There is also a 3rd bootleg from Glauchau 97. Somehow the DAT tape from the Mixing Desk was stolen from the band, and is now in the collection of a German collector.

@ James

thanks for the info, was reading the glorious tours site just now :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

.........and noticed that Vision Thing was very very late, so quite possibly the taper of "In the shadow of the sun" had started to pack up sticks and missed it :?
Just remember this. This rabble you keep talking about does most of the working, paying and dying in this community.

Anybody out there who owns a good quality recording of this gig? I only got a tape recording which is pretty bad (although master copy). I liked the Kylie cover a lot so a better recording would be fine.
