Sisters played Suikerrock

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

indeed :(

Your video is, of course, very welcome - some other HL'ers has also filmed a few parts here and there so maybe it's enough footage for a decent multicam DVD.
I recorded it with a digital video recorder, can you read mini DV tapes ?
Umph... I'd need to find someone with a DV cam and hope that the drive and the tapes like each other. Or I can send you an external HDD so you can rip the stuff on it and send it back - guess 500GB should be enough.

Those youtube clips sound great - the best I've heard them in a long time at any rate. . . .
If I should mention a minus point (forgive me) it would have to be the light show which was the most uncoordinated and flippy I have seen. That wasn't the Guru, was it?

But whatever, with a sound like that, who the f**k needs a lightshow anyway?
Not getting it; light looked fantastic from my pov. My tip for you for the next time (?): get in back of the room / square / venue. (but not outside). Also, the sound was great here and you could see all the band members.

no, because that implicates he cares about HL :innocent: And it that case he would be dead scary of the SUGAR SISTER RAY - SUIKERROCK TIENEN 07.26.08 bootleg humming around already.

DTSOM: that recording is one of the best in years from the sisters. Is it your recording gear or... the band's sound? thanks anyway!
