For once a journalist knew what he was writing about and obviously has understood The Sisters. I'm impressed.

Well we all know that one really well....it was so good to hear Capricorn!Bartek wrote:anyone noticed that "this Corrosion" seems to be dropped this year![]()
I believe it has
yes, but you have to understand it is only a part time journalist and Gothic fan to begin with.Eva wrote:Thank you very much for the translation, sunny1!

Trust me, we weren't lacking in a really unique set-list this Belgium gig!
Ok, I didn't know that. It supports my opinion though that you can only write well about what you know.christophe wrote:yes, but you have to understand it is only a part time journalist and Gothic fan to begin with.
it still is very well written but I can imagine he starts from a different point of view as other journalists might.....
it was published in a not scene related magazine(website) so thats a start isn't itEva wrote:Ok, I didn't know that. You were clearly watching a different set to everyone else, then.darkparticle wrote:did you see the presidents then? those suck ass, crowd torturing, over-hyping, superinflated egoists...I can't describe how unsiutable they were
They were tiring, but by far not as dreadful as the Scabs...Motz wrote:You were clearly watching a different set to everyone else, then.darkparticle wrote:did you see the presidents then? those suck ass, crowd torturing, over-hyping, superinflated egoists...I can't describe how unsiutable they were

I thought that band were absolutely abominable... they managed to encapsulate the ultimate failure of rock'n'roll in that set - turgid was not the word! Look up "pedestrian" in the dictionary and you will surely find a picture of their sorry mugs. By the end of the set I was so throroughly depressed I nearly imploded.
I liked the whole set, I guess you have to be Belgian to appreciate good music ?radiojamaica wrote:I quite liked that Neil Young cover they did at the end

I liked them as well, the Scabs are your average rock'n'roll oldies, ideal for a warm festival evening somewhere nice, holding a beer and smiling. Although the 'Robbing a Liquor Store'- Long Version was sooo rock-cliché it almost made me gag (left vs right? That's sooo Neil Diamond!)...Ozpat wrote:I loved the set as well C.christophe wrote:I liked the whole set, I guess you have to be Belgian to appreciate good music ?radiojamaica wrote:I quite liked that Neil Young cover they did at the end
