Must Have Bootlegs?

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

What compilation bootlegs, as opposed to live ones of just one show, do others consider "must haves" in their collections? Mine are Acoustics From the Beehive & The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Anyone else have a favorite or 2??

I consider Some Boys Wander by Mistake, which is still pretty easy to get, a must have.
Floodland demo's and Portastudio demo's as well.

Victims of Circumstance is pretty much essential too, as is any decent quality collection of the radio sessions you can find.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

"some song wonder by mistake", "some songs STILL wonder by mistake" or other compilation of "new" songs made by our generous HLers

the Floodland demos, Victims of Circumstance and Floorshow bootleg are musts since they are the only ones that have good sound afaik.
But I'd say all bootlegs are must haves since you won't want to miss out on any of the stuff the Sisters have ;D
It's good to be back

In the Shadow of Angels LP
Kill the Lights LP
some boys wonder by mistake CD

those 3 contain most of the unreleased stuff and some of the best demos imo..

I find it hard to recommend Kill The Lights. It's great to have the Floodland demos (with the exception of Dominion) on side 1, but the mish-mash of re-EQ'd fakes on side 2 takes from the value.

There was a whopping great torrent on Dime containing virtually all of the demos that had ever come out; in nice FLAC format. If you can find that, that's the place to start. :D

There is also a great demo's and versions 4CD in the weeding section.
Covers it all pretty much.

Acoustics from the Beehive is superb with both the Portastudio demos and the Floodland demos (that long instrumental untitled one is pure bliss!) :notworthy:
Another favourite of mine is the Ultra Rare Trax cd, it has a wonderful tracklist 8)

Must have though? Before The Flood. :notworthy:

The Unmarked Door - brilliant soundboard recording of a great gig at Amsterdam's Paradiso in 1984.

Disguised in Black - great gig (Newcastle '85) and also very nice recording.

Sister Ray CD or The lights shine... LP - one of my personal favourites, recording not so great, but my first Sisters gig.

From the studio demos would recommend Portastudio Demos and Some Boys wander by Mistake (the re-edited black version)

Good shout there by Victim...the Unmarked Door is a personal favourite of mine because the sound quality is excellent...turn up the volume and you get a really good vibe...you can get it in the weeding section....

Live at Newcastle also has great sound quality and worth getting a copy too.

I get by with my own personal expanded versions of Some Boys and Victems.

I added YCBTO to Some Boys and add whack Wide Reciever, Where Spirits Fly, Good Things and Driver onto the end of Victems Of Circumstance, for me that pretty much covers it.
Nationalise the f**king lot.

Stuff I've heard from Acoustics From The Beehive is amazing and I would appreciate it if someone would share the whole thing. ;D
