Gig reviews, set lists, thoughts, comments and observations on the 2008/2009 Sisters tour, including the Autumn/Winter 2008 U.S. and European 2009 legs.
Nice one. Flight has just been booked.
Arriving on the 23rd at lunchtime. So I hope others are. I don't want to sit alone in a coffee shop for an entire day with big red eyes.

I'd pay good money to see that.
I'll be booking my flight later on today; I think options are limited, but I'm figuring to take a day or so on either side as well.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

But you are the Heartland expert.
I'm flying out on the 23rd with KLM from Birmingham. Flight was about £130 in the end.
24 February 2009 is my birthday
What a great birthday
My best friend Wouter bought me a ticket as a birthday present
So now just wait until the big day is coming
Cann't wait....................
And for your information I remember the 14th of April 1985, it was the first concert that I saw of The Sisters Of Mercy and it was in Paradiso Amsterdam. http://www.mydominionnl.com/paradiso14041985.html

Hmmmm - found an Irish bar on Ledzeppelin in April which was OK, you could see the footie if you wanted, they had Magners (no draft though ), and they played some decent-ish music, including a song called "Alice" by a certain beat combo...

Is there a story to tell Zeno? I quite like that bar myself, largely cos of the Magners. The atmosphere is good too though, and I seem to remember it being next to a bar called the Three Sisters!

Nice to have the Australian contingent representing.
So...any suggestions for a decent bar pre gig to meet up?
I'd prefer a bar where smoking is still "allowed". Though I thought there where none left in Holland ever since the ban earlier this year, I was nicely suprised last Saturday visiting a bar where smoking was no problem at all.
