I got some last week at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, most were pretty fuzzy due to all the smoke even using the manual focus (autofocus would have been less than useless) but still got a couple decent ones. I could barely see ben at ALL tho
The rest are on my Flickr -

His skin is now made from the leather he used to wear then as a jacket.
I like it though, leatherface.

Photos from Detroit (Royal Oak Theatre) here: http://romt-photos.com/shows/08-sisters/index-1.html
It automatically starts a slideshow, set to Dominion/Mother Russia, but there is a gallery view too if you don't want to sit through it. The Sisters pics don't start until the "We serve an old man in a dry season" segment but there aree some nice close ups. Most of the pics are of the crowd, and lots of Hypernova pics as well.
Cross posted in the Detroit post-show thread as well.

Good one, Nicole!
I just sat through the whole thing and it seemed like a nice, mixed crowd...
I'm so ready for the groove machine to hit Brussels in a good month's time
(then again, I'm always ready for that )

in dub we trust
Yes I noticed that too - seemed like a more "mixed" crowd this year in Chicago as well, as opposed to the '06 show I attended. Of course in all of my Google-ing I haven't been able to find a single thing on Chicago, pictures or reviews. Ah well - I'm home sick (have been for a few days now) so I'm getting a little search happy, seeing if I can turn anything else up on the 2008 North American shows.radiojamaica wrote:Good one, Nicole!

Thanks for the slide.
The folks on the pic look like the audience who visit their yearly science fiction gathering and talk Klingon all the way.
Why do some people not understand that painting your face is utterly stupid?

This weekend was proved that it's not only stupid, but also dangerous and sick.
Ooops.

I haven't seen any photos, assuming there are any - but does anyone else think that, from the descriptions, it sounds like Heath Ledger's Joker makeup?dinky daisy wrote:This weekend was proved that it's not only stupid, but also dangerous and sick.
Now that would really make me go ballistic

off topic, and yes, The Joker is his nickname and he was a real filmfreak, but no, he looks more like Syd Barrett.

Also, the news is quite changing every minute. He didn't wear any red wig, wasn't an old black metal geek, was not under the influence of drugs, wasn't any patient (that is, someone who was in a mental hospital). we love to create the monster, but the monster was a kid himself. (Which doesn't make it less cruel, of course)
