Wheres the Best Recoring of, "Slept"?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I have a feeling one of the 2003 German dates has a good quality version. Can't remember which one though. :?

Seconded on Smoke & Mirrors, one of the best sources for great sounding versions of the "new" stuff. :D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Aye....absolutely love that bootleg and I have given away several cd-r copies to people who'd like to know the Girls better.

Does anyone know for sure who wrote the music to Slept? I assume Pearson but I'm not sure. Varjak?

Love the Smoke & Mirrors too. Gets an airing everyday give or take. But mostly give. I believe Mr Whammy himself wrote Slept. Von added the lyrics...

Wonder if Adam would be up for an interview now he's left the front line? I think I'll start a new topic come to think of it...
“I got lost in the mirror, wondering what could have been, I couldn’t help but kill her, but I couldn’t kill the dream.”

they start play it in 2003 but eldritch mention the title, "i've slept with every girl in berlin" in 2001 interview as too controversial for record company :D but still it's too new one for varjak. he's left in '99. if not adam so maybe sheehan then?
