Due to his decreasing state of physical & mental health James Ray has decided to retire from the music business. His contributions to 'The Performance', 'Gangwar', 'The MKULTRA', 'The Otherfolk', '4080peru' & '25men' will be remembered for what remains.
He intends to spend what is left of his life with his family and friends enjoying the things he loves.
We hope that that his input has been a worthy and inspiring aspect in the Grand Scheme of Things.
I TEGO ARCANA DEI
JAMES RAY

One of my favourites
What can I say? For what it's worth, rock 'n' roll has been enriched by Mr Ray's contributions.
Paint it cobalt blue!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

As far as I'm concerned, James Ray's work, from his involvement with The Sisterhood project up to and including 25Men, have indeed fulfilled all my criteria for being worthy and inspiring.25men wrote: We hope that that his input has been a worthy and inspiring aspect in the Grand Scheme of Things.
Sad news indeed, take care Mr. Ray, and thank you.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

I appreciate every work James Ray has worked on, his tunes are played here frequent so I don't need to say this is sad news for me.
yet I understand the choices people have to make in life and I can only wish him all the best with what is comming.
and Eric, if you are out there, life has a lot to offer so try to experience it the way you see fit! but I have a feeling we will hear from you again.
take care.

This has taken a good few rewrites. I know a year or so back, I would be quite shocked at this. However, now, it (sadly) comes as little surprise to me.
Despite things which may have been said in the past... as a musician, he made some fairly good songs, many of which inspired me musically, and for that I will wish him well for the future.
I can thank him for his permitting me to cover a song I liked, to "do what like with any of [his] songs", his kind words about my last album, his giving me the master of Third Generation, and I hope that if our paths cross again, there will be no bad words to be spoken.
I hope your health improves, Eric, and despite personal issues, it was a pleasure, and hopefully will be so again.
I hope 25men will continue in their own path.
I hope eventually things will work out.

A string of great records, many of which have found a way into my collection.
I'm glad I got the chance to see you in concert - I was front row during the fantastic 25men gig with the MV at the Leeds met.
Take care, and best wishes.
