Alice 12"

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Hi,

I am going to sell some old Sisters vinyl on ebay, nothing particularly rare (i think), just a few 12" and albums in some job lots.

One 12" has thrown me a little; it is the Alice 12" e.p. from 1983, MR 021. The a-side has the correct label, i.e. MR021A, however the b-side has the label for the Kiss the Carpet e.p., i.e. MR023AA. There are only two songs on the 12" b side (which corresponds with the Alice e.p.) and not three as on the Kiss e.p. I assume this was just a mis-labeling at the factory as both e.p.s released in 1983. I had better give it a quick spin to check which songs are on there (haven't played them for many a year).

Has anyone come across this before?

I used to have a similar early mispressed label 12". Sold it a few years ago for not very much, so they don't seem to be particularly rare or sort after.
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

Thanks for that.

Didn't think it would be particualrly rare, just interested to hear if it was a common mistake.

Afraid most of my vinyl just has to go, no space for it anymore (bloody kids!). Ebay here we come.

Thanks once again.
