Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....

and i'm not a stalker but i looked on google earth and its a bit "suburban" (i was going to use another word but thought better of it!!!!)

Actually, he claimed (early on) to have had one 'love affair' (his words) and said he'd never have another. Given the time-frame in which these allusions were made, one assumes the party in question was Josie Warden, although I suppose it could have been Claire. (Somehow, though, live-in situations don't strike me as very 'affair'-like...).

Since that time, he's kept his personal relationships of that sort rather private - unsurprising, as witness this discussion... :oops: :wink: :lol:

I think the association is more of a US thing - suburbs and gated communities full of soccer moms and all. And the term "soccer mom" is NOT a compliment, at all - think those mothers who baby their kids and control every little aspect of their life because they have no life of their own, the housewife/trophy wife type. Not all of them are like that, but at least around here that's what we call them, soccer moms. :lol: The sort who drive their SUVs around and won't drink anything but Starbucks.

As popular as the sport is with schoolkids and all (and my boyfriend played for years, he hasn't been able to find a local adult team or league to play with though and I know he misses it) it's still not a major US sport like American football, basketball, baseball, etc.

Why? Because I'm currently trying to infect a young friend with The Sisters, and she seems to be starting to get it. I already gave her some recordings to hear and some interviews to read, and I thought showing her some of the oneliners could be a next step, but I'm afraid I can't recall all the good old ones.
