Thus Spoke Eldritch

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Hopefully we will find out soon. On the other hand, after waiting 20 years, I can wait more, even if the next one never comes again.

from that unconsciousness answer i can tell that "Why we have to wait so long for the new album?" must be von's favourite FAQ

"soon" is scientifically over after 273 days. Thus within 273 days a new record.

Thinking about it, it's the first positive mention of the long-fabled "new album" from :von: in ages, and Chris and Ben are both eager (from what I hear).

So who knows? Might be good news soon. Stranger things have happened.

Self-release or new record deal? There are so many vague details that I'm not holding my breath just yet, sorry

We are probably facing the end of the world; a new Sisters album would be a great soundtrack for it!

So let us pray, for God is Mercy!
Tune in

Sadly I have no idea :(

Choque has offered a few times, but I don't think the band need it with all chris' kit and his contacts...

ah, well. in that case i shall have to stick with my original prediction of 273 years - albeit with a sinking heart :(

Stranger things have happened. Soon is relative, we have waited so long that 2 years would be soon (hope not). Also AE has at various times had enough equipment to record an album if the urge had taken hold. The equipment list he had years ago is far better than the studios that recorded some of the worlds all time classics. And he never has to find/deal with an errant drummer...
Still night, nothing for miles...
