Hello there new on this forum but have only just found this cd after quite a while having it packed away. The disc is correctly labelled but the songs on it are definelty not the sisters of mercy, remeber picking this up from woolworths taking it home to play and it being incorrect. Went back to woolworths who tried to tell me i must have the wrong cd in the box so got them to try the other discs in store and there were a few like it so thery got pulled from shelves. But they did also supply me a good copy.
So my question is does this disc have any monetry value and if so what ?
And whats the best way to sell as now am in NZ ?
Thanks for taking the time to read )
ps not saying whats on disc at present in case someone wants to know its genuine )

To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
I wouldn't expect it to be worth that much unless the tracks themselves are rare or there's something unusual about the packaging. There wouldn't be that much call for a Sisters CD that doesn't actually play Sisters music nor for one that plays Westlife. These sorts of mispressings turn up quite a lot but I can't remember ever seeing one with a high price tag. Might fetch a bit more if it had the wrong Sisters tracks on it but still not that much as they're also available on the release that they're meant to be on. Vinyl mispressings are sometimes worth something but not usually CDs.
But you never know what some people will buy so stick it on eBay. But probably not with a $217 starting price...

Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

I had a mispress of The Nephilim on cassette, side A was marked side B and vice-versa.
